Born in June, 1960

Graduated from the Research Institute of Literature, SNU

Major: Classical Chinese Literature

Degree: PhD in Literature

Title:Professor and advisor for PhD candidates

Member of the Academic Committee in Chinese Language and Literature, Ministry of Education, deputy director and secretary for the Association of Tang Literature, and vice-chairman for the Committee of Academic Degrees in NWU

Field of study: Classical Chinese literature, culture of the Sui and Tang Dynasties

 

Career

In 1983, graduated from the Chinese Department of NWU,

From Sept. 1983 to July, 1986, working for MA under the guidance of Mr. An QI, an expert in Classical Chinese literature

From Sept. 1995 to July, 1998, working for PhD in SNU under the guidance of Mr Huo Songlin

From 1999 to 2002, working in the Post-doctorate program in Fudan University , under the guidance of Mr. Wang Shuizhao

From 2000 to 1002, invited to work in Korea as a professor

In Oct. 2001, employed as the dean of the College of Liberal Arts , NWU

In 2004, employed as a part-time professor in the Research Centre of Classical Chinese literature, Fudan University

In 2007, granted the honor of National Advanced Teacher, and in 2008, the honor of Extraordinary Expert of Shaanxi Province

At present, working as the vice president of NWU
